Vinewood Village condos in downtown Wyandotte ready for occupancy

The developers of the Vinewood Village project in downtown Wyandotte are keeping an open mind when it comes to selling their nearly completed townhouses. They hope to work with buyers to get sales moving in a highly competitive market.

It’s a buyers market for homes in Metro Detroit and Richard Custer knows it. The spokesman for the Vinewood Village development in downtown Wyandotte is pretty open to new ideas to working with potential customers to get his sales moving.

“This is the best time for customers,” Custer says. “Right now, if a person came in they could have their pick of what they wanted.”

In Wyandotte that’s basically of most of the 10 condos under construction at Vinewood Village. Of those 10 townhouses at Vinewood and 6th streets, four of them are within 30 days of completion and the other six are within three months.

The $2.9-million project consists of 18 townhouses on the northwest side of downtown. The houses are about 1,500 square feet each and come with a balcony and an attached, two-car garage. Two more unsheltered parking spaces are next to garage, bringing it to a total of four spaces for each condo.

Buyers can also have the basement built out, along with other additional options that can be negotiated with the developer. The condos are priced between $170,000 and $190,000.

Wyandotte-based Destiny & Shea Builders are behind the project. For information, call (734) 285-2180 or (313) 477-6718.
