Translations.com, a New York-based language and technology solutions firm, has relocated its Automotive Practice Group to Detroit.

A big reason for the move is the continuing work they have done with “the ‘Big Three’ and other Detroit-based companies that cater to their needs, ” said Jeff Christensen, senior account executive. In a recent press release,Translations.com officials stated Detroit has “been aggressive with tax incentives and other programs designed to attract multinational businesses to the area.”

Providing software, website and enterprise-wide localization services, Translations.com offers solutions for their clients to efficiently work with international markets.

The Automotive Practice Group currently houses 10 employees, including a support team and one on-site at General Motors. The company looks to add at least 10 more individuals in the next year, said Christensen.
