MichBio aims to retain Pfizer workers in Michigan

MichBio, a trade organization for the life-sciences industry, has offered to assist Pfizer employees either find new jobs or start up their own business in the state of Michigan.

“The retention of a strong talent pool, creation of opportunities for new technology business ventures, and the provision of other resources to keep current Michigan life-science workers and the families here, are paramount objectives,” [Executive Director Stephen] Rapundalo said in the statement. “We must redouble our efforts in this sector of the economy, and state policy is a very important component of what we do.”
