New Detroit Medical opens Wellness Center in Dearborn
A little healthy living is coming to the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn. The Detroit Medical Center has opened a Wellness Center there. The idea is to provide a wider variety of programs for physical therapy, athletic training, injury prevention and general health and wellness. In a nutshell the center will offer basic health screenings, nutrition counseling, healthy cooking demonstrations, physical therapy and fitness classes. The wellness center will also take a special interest in treating sports injuries through physical therapy since the DMC is the official health care provider to the Detroit Shock, Pistons, Red Wings and Tigers.
