The company has been eyeing a move for a while, and is experiencing rapid growth, said Neal Warling, CEO of Bluestone Realty Advisors, which represented Prestolite.

“Here’s an automotive company that’s growing at 20 to 30 percent a year,” Warling said.

The firm considered about 100 properties and toured 30, focusing its efforts along the Interstate 275 corridor to be close to Metro Airport and the region’s automotive engineering talent.
