Fraser-based Faurecia to expand, add 98 jobs

Automotive supplier Faurecia North America, based in Fraser, has been awarded a $4.3 million state tax credit to renovate its 57,600-square-foot building, a project that will create 98 jobs.

According to the Michigan Economic Development Corp., Faurecia plans to spend $4.3 million to fix and expand a building contaminated with lead-based paint and asbestos. The second phase of the project calls for a 40,000-square-foot expansion of the building.
