Beringea invests $1.25M in Eagle Rock, plans more deals

Beringea continues to make investments in growing businesses at a time when seed capital commands a high premium.The Farmington Hills-based firm has made a $1.25 million investment in Eagle Rock Entertainment, which has offices in both North America and Europe. Beringea also is planning to spread more seed capital this year and soon.”We have several deals with signed term sheets and we are expecting to close in the next few months,” Andrea Wilmes, director of marketing and communications for Beringea.The venture capital firm has offices in London and Los Angeles. It commands tens of millions of dollars of investment cash in the U.S., Asia, and Europe.Beringea employs 21 people.
