Our panel starts at 5 p.m. with registration, 5:30 for the presentation. The lineup is a group of doers, changemakers, people whose contributions are transforming the face of Detroit. Cool people doing cool things for the city.
They include:
• Aaron Alston, developer of the Vinton Building in Detroit, CEO of Cadre Systems and a co-owner of Candor Marketing
• Phil Cooley, co-founder of Slow’s BarBQ in Corktown
• Anne Parsons, director of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra
• Marsha Miro, founding director of the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit
• Jason Huvaere, president of Paxahau, the music promoters behind the Movement festival
• Claire Neslon, owner of Bureau of Urban Living and organizer of Open City Detroit
After the panel, we’ll have a reception and entertainment from nospectacle in the atrium of the Max. Cranbrook Art Academy artists will show. The reception is open to the public, cash bar, starting at 6:30 p.m.
