Ferndale taps 30-year old as new city manager

Ferndale is moving towards hiring 30-year-old Robert Bruner, former city manager of Ypsilanti, as its new city manager.

Bruner, who carries a Treo personal digital assistant, said that as city manager he plans to evaluate and improve how the city uses technology, so that residents are able to do as much as they can online, and employees are working efficiently. He also said that he wants to improve labor relations.
