New 16,000 sf Affirmations center set to open in Ferndale

Affirmations, a community center for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered individuals, is et to open its new 16,000-square foot headquarters on W. Nine Mile Rd. in Ferndale. The building, which will apply for LEED-certification, includes an art gallery, cyber cafe, meeting and community space.
