Two-thirds of 24-unit River Lofts in Mt. Clemens sold

Fourteen of the 22 units at the River Lofts, 98 N. Gratiot Ave. in Mt. Clemens, have sold.

Real-estate agents have sold about two lofts per month since the building opened, says agent Mary Naeyaert.

The units range in price between $149,000 and $199,000. They have open floor plans and range in size from 950 to 1,400 square feet. The lofts have 17-foot ceilings, access to the Clinton River, a heated garage, optional fireplaces views of the city and Clinton River.

“This is more industrial,” said Mary Naeyaert, a real-estate agent with Century 21 handling sales for River Lofts. “The walls are cinderblock and they show. There are stained concrete floors.”

Mt. Clemens-based Mineral Springs Development started this project in October 2004. Finished models came online in May 2006.
