API will own the rights to the developed technology and will be free to commercialize it in both private or military markets.

“This single application within the non-destructive testing market could offer API a significant opportunity in a very large market for both short-term and long-term growth over the next 10 years,” API chairman and CEO Richard Kurtz said.
