Novi-based Trinity Health has named VeLois Bowers as senior vice president of diversity and inclusion. Bowers has previously filled similar roles for Kellogg and Whirlpool.

In the newly created role, Bowers “will advance Trinity Health’s vision to develop a culturally competent workforce” that consists of more than 45,000 employees in Trinity’s 46 hospitals and other outpatient and long-term care centers.
