S3 Entertainment takes control of Allen Park Studios

S3 Entertainment Group, one of Metro Detroit’s big guns in the entertainment industry, is stepping in to take the reins of the Allen Park Studio Center. The Ferndale-based firm, which helped make major movies like Gran Torino come to light, has entered into a preliminary long-term agreement with the city of Allen Park to manage operations and production development at the studio center. The studio has had its ups and downs since it was announced a few years ago.
