RO-based RTT software stimulation firm plans to double in coming months

RTT USA, a young and growing software simulation company based in Royal Oak plans to double its staff of 15 in the next three months.

Kristin Getchell, 26, thought she would have to leave Detroit to find a career in design, but RTT provided her with the opportunity to live and work in the area.

“I know a lot of my friends basically had the feeling, ‘Well, we’re going to have to move to L.A. or somewhere where the entertainment industry is so prominent,'” said 3-D artist Getchell, a graduate of Detroit’s College for Creative Studies. “I wanted to stay with my family, and I love this town. So I was really happy to be able to do this here.”
