Red Level Networks adds to staff in Novi

Red Level Networks recently scored a place on Inc. magazine's list of 5,000 fastest-growing companies for the second consecutive year, caping another year of impressive growth. This year the Novi-based firm ranks No. 2,327, up from 2,525 last year. It's also No. 33 of 89 Michigan-based companies on that list. The IT business has watched its growth spike by 108 percent over the last three years as more firms are looking to leverage its services. "They are looking for companies that understand technology and invest in it," says David King, president of Red Level Networks. "They want companies that are professionals at what they do." Red Level Networks has hired two people over the last year and has two openings now for an account executive and systems analyst. That 8-year-old company has grown to 22 employees and one intern. It is also prepping for a major expansion over the next couple of years. The firm expects to hire 25-30 more people over the next 18-24 months. "That would take us close to 50 people," King says. "We're taking additional office space to accommodate that growth."
