Plymouth looks to expand parking options in downtown

Plymouth officials are looking to head off a potential parking shortage by creating more spaces. To do that it hopes to buy five adjacent properties and raze the old single family homes turned businesses to create more parking.Doing so would create another 60-65 parking spaces. The East Central lot already has 204 parking spaces.Representatives from the DDA plan to approach the property owners in the next few weeks to see if that’s feasible.
