Five stages. A hundred artists. Crowds that swell to nearly 100,000. A whole lotta sweat.

Welcome to the Movement Electronic Music Festival, a three day / three night electronic music extravaganza that officially kicks off Metro Detroit’s summer party season.

This year’s celebration of the Motor City’s origination of techno takes place May 28-30th in Detroit’s Hart Plaza, filling the streets with throbbing beats and electronic inspiration. Starting Saturday at noon, a rogues gallery of local and international artists will take the stage and fill the streets with the sweet sound o’ music.

You gotta wanna be there.

And we want you to be there too!

Paxahau, the folks who produce, program and promote this one-of-a-kind event, have handed a pair of tickets to Metromode and we’ve decided our readers should have ’em. So, yup, we’re giving them away.

Sign up below for a chance to win two General Admission passes. We’ll randomly select the winner.

We’ll also add you to our email list so that Metromode’s front page will appear in your Inbox each Thursday. Hopefully, you’ll dig our stories about the people, businesses and organizations that are moving Metro Detroit forward. If you don’t, no sweat. Just unsubscribe. Already a subscriber? That’s cool, you can still enter.

See you on the dance floor (a.k.a. the streets of Hart Plaza)!
