MiSoft Solutions was just a glimmer in its founders’ eyes when they started writing code less than two years ago. By 2016, the Ferndale-based business expects to hit the seven-figure mark in revenue.

“We custom develop software programs and websites for our clients,” says Dana Smith, director of business development for MiSoft Solutions.

Specifically, MiSoft develops customized software programs around a client’s processes, promising a streamline software system that is easier to use. Among its clients are Gage Products Co, for whom it made a lab testing system, and STEM.org, for whom it built a website.

That work helped MiSoft Solutions grow its team to five people and its revenue well past the $100,000 mark. Smith expects the company to cross the $1 million in annual revenue milestone next year.

“We have started getting our name out there,” Smith says. “We have done a lot of marketing over the last year.”
