LTU played role in Langdon’s decision to relocate to Southfield

Intellectual property research firm Langdon IP Inc. announced its plans to open a second office with 300 employees in Southfield last week. Apparently, access to Lawrence Tech University’s resources and graduates played a role in the company’s decision.

“We understand that a reason that Landon IP chose Southfield was for ready access to Lawrence Technological University and other engineering universities, the large pool of both new and experienced engineering talent, and opportunities for research partnerships and other synergies,” Walker said. “This area is the hub of one of the world’s great reservoirs of technological talent and expertise, and we’re delighted to assist Landon IP and others located in this dynamic region and elsewhere in Michigan.”
