Honigman headed to downtown A2

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLC will open an office downtown Ann Arbor’s historic Allmendinger Building on First St. with the hopes of attracting technology clients.

Bob Gates, a vice president of First Martin [,the firm that brokered the lease], said Honigman’s decision to open an office in Ann Arbor serves as an example of how the local economy will recover from announcements like Pfizer’s decision to leave the city. “I think it [bodes] well for the future prospect of downtown Ann Arbor,” Gates said. “I think the Honigman firm is clearly optimistic about the prospects for Ann Arbor.”
