The writers and editors at Detour Magazine are tired of the same old same old when it comes to pop culture reporting. So, they’re doing something about it –writing about music, film and the arts with a too-bad-if-you-don’t-like-us attitude.
While most of their readers are in Detroit, Los Angeles notably comes in second (followed by Austin and New York). Why? Because The D is the most influential city for music in the world and Detour has made a religion of extensively covering its indie scene.
