In fact, sales have been going well enough at Tender that [co-owner] Cheryl Daskas and her sister, Karen Daskas, opened a 2,500-square-foot shoe and handbag boutique in October next door to Tender’s primary location on West Maple Road.
“The reason that we opened our second store is because we believe in Birmingham,” said Daskas, who didn’t release sales figures. “It’s a great town, and it’s a great shopping area.”
