Construction workers are preparing to break ground on the Kingsley Lane Lofts development in downtown Ann Arbor by the end of the month.

Nearly 45 percent of the units in the development at 111 W. Kingsley St. have been reserved. The development consists of 50 residential units, which will occupy a nine-story building and a second, four-story building. There is another 5,800 square feet of office space included on the second floors of the project, along with five live/work units.

The lofts range in size from 515-square-foot studios to 3,000+ square foot penthouses. Prices range from $200,000 to $775,000. The development also includes two floors of underground parking.

Kingsley Lane Partners expect to finish building the four-story structure by the summer of 2008 and the nine-story building by the fall of 2008.
