Aerospace company’s expansion adds up to $3.7 million investment, 282 jobs
Aerospace parts maker Gentz Industries’ will expand its presence in Warren, bringing 282 new jobs, including 125 directly by the company, the Michigan Economic Development Corp. announced Tuesday.
Aerospace parts maker Gentz Industries‘ will expand its presence in Warren, bringing 282 new jobs, including 125 directly by the company, the Michigan Economic Development Corp. announced Tuesday.
MEDC offered a Single Business Tax credit valued at $1.08 million over
seven years to win the company’s $3.7 million expansion. The company had also been considering a Kansas facility.
Gentz Industries manufactures and repairs complex, high-precision components
and fabrications for power generation, prop and jet aircraft and helicopters.
Customers include engine builders, certified aerospace parts distributors, airlines and certified engine repair stations. Gentz currently employs 169 full-time employees at its facility in Warren.
