London, Ontario-based SeQent recently opened its new 3,200 sq ft facility in Troy. The offices accommodate the company’s sales and marketing staff as well as a support team.
SeQent is the new identity for Plantwatch, Inc. and NetCon Technologies and its products monitor manufacturing environments and send real-time plant floor messaging and alerts to key personnel through display boards, pagers, mobile phones and PDAs.
The company’s recent client wins include: Kellogg, Toyota Motor Corp, and Phelps Dodge –the world’s leading producer of copper. SeQent reports that it has a growing customer base in the aerospace, automotive, beverage bottling and consumer products industries as well as the auto industry, including DaimlerChrysler A.G., General Motors Corp. Ford Motor Co., and Toyota.
