With big contracts coming in, Sterling Heights’  Aqaba Tech is growing in leaps and bounds.

The tech firm, which supplies multinational Web strategies and technology-based services, has been on a roll, says Ramsey Sweis, the company’s president and chief executive officer. Just this month, the company  announced two new contracts with Weik and Associates and Prime Time Testing Labs, and has launched two client Web sites.

Recently, the tech company hired a new project manager, and will hire five to six additional employees in 2008, Sweis says.

The new hires, Sweis says, will help the company meet the needs of a handful of new contracts. “We have some big accounts for 2008,” he adds. “We’re planning on being prepared.” Look for Aqaba to announce some big-name clients, he boasts.

Aqaba has also expanded physically, moving into an additional 1,000 square feet adjacent to the existing facility.

“We had considered moving for more space, but we were able to knock down a wall and add a doorway,” Sweis explains.
