First phase of The Oaks nears completion in Wyandotte

Construction on the first phase of The Oaks condominiums in downtown Wyandotte is nearing completion. Work on the first three units is nearly finished and the ‘model’ unit is expected to be done by the end of the month.
The Oaks calls for 13 townhouses to be built at the corner of Oak and 2nd Streets near downtown and the Detroit River. All of the units have between two and three bedrooms, 1.5 to 3 bathrooms and a two-car attached garage each. They range in size from 1,700 square feet to 2,100 square feet. Prices range from $179,000 to $229,000.
Wyandotte-based Rivertown Construction is behind the $2.6-million project.
