Southfield’s 1-800-Law-Firm expands staff by dozens

Ari Kresch sees a market opportunity for attorneys who are willing to sell their legal acumen for the right price. It's the reason why his Southfield-based practice, 1-800-Law-Firm, has been growing so quickly. The 4-year-old practice went from six people at its beginning to 50 employees and three interns today, including 25 hires over the last year. It recently moved into a new headquarters on Lasher Road in Southfield that measures out at 25,000 square feet. "There is a market demand for reasonably priced legal services," says Ari Kresch, founder & CEO. 1-800-LAW-FIRM PLLC focuses on pharmaceutical litigation, consumer protection, employment, labor law, accidents/injuries, Social Security claims, professional malpractice and whistle-blower cases. It also leverages a network of nationwide lawyers to bring claims against companies. The practice has found its niche by not charging hourly for its services, but offering transparent pricing for legal services. It has also worked to leverage more technology to expedite its services and is utilizing extensive marketing to grow. "We have grown exponentially," Kresch says.
