The writers and editors at Detour Magazine are tired of the same old same old when it comes to pop culture reporting. So, they're doing something about it --writing about music, film and the arts with a too-bad-if-you-don't-like-us attitude.

While most of their readers are in Detroit, Los Angeles notably comes in second (followed by Austin and New York). Why? Because The D is the most influential city for music in the world and Detour has made a religion of extensively covering its indie scene.
