Frank Lloyd Wright's Turkel House

Love him or hate him, Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture is nothing if not ambitous. He didn't just create homes, he attempted to fashioned lives.

Nestled in Detroit's Palmer Woods, amidst stately vintage estates, is the only Wright-designed "automatic" house in the Motor City. Fifty-two years old and suffering from years of neglect, Norm Silk and Dale Morgan --owners of Blossoms flower boutique in Birmingham-- are breathing new life into the Usonian marvel known as the Dorothy Turkel House.
