ePrize is the global leader of interactive promotions- we work with 74 of the top 100 brands, such as Coca-Cola, Disney, Proctor and Gamble, Clorox, The Gap and Dell. Our goal is to connect brands directly to consumers by motivating specific behavior (i.e. purchases, website visits, referrals). ePrize designs and manages all aspects of interactive promotions ranging from online sweepstakes to large scale points-based loyalty programs.

As a Senior Producer for ePrize, I weave dreams on a regular basis, ensuring that my client's objectives are met by engaging consumers through online interactive campaigns and media events.

Textsfromlastnight.com began as a way to more effectively share the ridiculous text exchanges that our friends received in the wee hours of the morning when they should have been sleeping and others should just put down their phones. TFLN quickly grew to amass more than 21 million unique visitors, a book with Gotham Publishing to be released in January and a sitcom based on the site currently in development. My role at TFLN is multifaceted. I helped initially with the design, marketing and synthesis of the site, but as it grew so did my to-do list. Now I communicate with our development team, manage ad sales, further market textsfromlastnight.com and our other entertainment properties and occasionally find time to post a text or two. We never expected this to be a job, but my partner Lauren and I are quite pleased that we can call it one.

I work full time in education and I am a freelance writer. Some of my work is published in Ambassador Magazine, After5Detroit, Michigan Front Page, Heart and Soul Magazine, Black Health Magazine, SheKnows.com, Atlanta Life and Detroit Fashion Pages where I am the wellness expert.  I have also freelanced for companies based in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington D.C.
 
In addition, I started Calming Corners (www.calmingcorners.com) a blog where readers can get their weekly dose of wellness. Mindful Mondays has articles about inspiration and motivation. Wellness Wednesdays has articles about health and fitness and Fashionable Fridays has articles about beauty and fashion.
 
I also have a monthly newsletter that I started last year where I write profiles about individuals who are living their dream life and encouraging others to do the same. Through my newsletter I have had the opportunity to interview individuals such as Pulitzer Prize winner Junot Diaz, Edwidge Danticat, WDIV’s Paula Tutman and Poet Suheir Hammad. I help clients leverage and create custom interactive promotions to help cultivate one-to-one relationships between their brand and their customers. Campaigns can range from online sweepstakes to points-based loyalty programs. Since 1999, ePrize has successfully launched more than 5,000 promotions for 74 of the top 100 brands.

I help manage a portfolio of online promotions which consist of 76 of the top 100 brands.

I am responsible for launching and driving new business for the Metro Detroit branch of Web Search Marketing, Inc.. I work closely with clients to determine there needs, from website design to a fully integrated interactive marketing campaign, and develop a strategy to help them use the web to accomplish there business goals.  As part of the Web Shop Company, a leading web design and development company working with some of the Midwest’s leading brands, we help small, medium and large companies implement website design, Search Engine Optimization, Pay-Per-Click Advertising, Database Management, Email Marketing into their integrated marketing strategy.

As a freelance designer and strategist, I work closely with clients to develop their online presence by making the most of new media technologies. Though website design and development is a large part of establishing yourself and/or your organization online, it is also important to leverage social media and other tools to fully utilize your online space. Many of my clients are from the nonprofit, government, and political sectors who are anxious to make a difference -- on a budget.

Prior to establishing my own business, Jjo Media (www.jjomedia.com), I served as Design Manager for the Obama presidential campaign.  Now that I'm back in Michigan, I'm looking to work with local clients to craft high-level, meaningful solutions that will help push our state forward.
