Description:Looking for a dynamic and creative thinker that is willing to take on a position with multiple dimensions. Main duties will be to assist the Managing Director. Other significant duties will be speaking and translating written and spoken French into English.
Job Duties (not limited to): Proofreading Word and PowerPoint documents written in English for spelling and grammar mistakes; Translating business documents written in French to English; Coordinating international conference calls and video meetings; Supporting conference calls and video meetings by speaking French, translating spoken/written French to English or vice versa; Creating PowerPoint presentations from a white board sketch or word documents from hand written notes; Inputting expenses and customer invoices into the accounting system; Making travel arrangements; Coordinating and maintaining schedules; Preparing reports and financial data; Researching various industries to determine if they are a potential market; Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:The ideal candidate would have some experience or interest in selling. This position offers the room to grow into an advisor role. Bachelor Degree or currently working towards; Student Intern. Language Skills: Primary English, excellent grammar and spelling skills; Secondary French, must be able to read, write and speak in French; PC Application; Microsoft Word
Microsoft PowerPoint; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access; Must have good judgment particularly when dealing with customers and vendors; Must have the necessary time management and organizational skills to effectively work on multiple different tasks each day and long-term projects. Preferred Skills: Knowledge concerning the operation of an Automotive Dealerships and/or public school systems; Initial experience in telephone sales
