Description:Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Integrative Studies Department. This position will coordinate recruitment and orientation for the Bachelor of Integrative Studies and Honor's College. Assist students in developing meaningful academic program plans, including determination of coursework required for progression, retention and graduation. Develop, implement, and maintain a pedagogical structure for advising students.
Requirements: • Master's degree in a relevant subject matter. • Minimum of two years experience working in a higher educational setting, experience teaching college level courses and/or academic advising. • Strong computer and database skills. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Desired Qualifications: • Knowledge of interdisciplinary studies and the university's academic policies and curricula. • Evidence of teaching excellence and advising experience. Unless otherwise required by an applicable collective bargaining agreement, all minimum, additional and desired qualifications are preferred, but qualifications, degrees, and/or experience deemed comparable and/or equivalent by Oakland University in its sole and exclusive discretion may be considered.
