Description:The Account Manager supervises National Accounts, & develops account strategy & obtains a comprehensive understanding of long & short-term customer needs. Cultivate key decision makers and influencers beyond purchasing & craft relationship plan to build strategies. This analytical individual executes negotiations & manages planning. Other duties include leading a cross-functional team & coordinating information flow. Create collaborative customer/supplier CI teams and build value.
Requirements:Key performance indicators include: customer survey results, account’s pocket margins & service performance. A Bachelor’s degree required with 5-7 years of successful sales exp., preferably in packaging, working with large, national accounts. MBA preferred. Must be able to master a sales plan and bring it forward. General plastics knowledge preferred. Solid technical aptitude with regards to resins, manufacturing process, barrier materials and other competitive packaging mediums required.
