Description:Asterand, Inc., is the leading supplier of human tissue materials & services. Role is critical to the Company’s long term success, thus has a very high profile. This position is based in Detroit, MI, reports to the GM, US Operations; will be responsible for effectively matching supply w/ customer demand & for development of strategies to improve operating efficiencies & service levels while managing an appropriate level of human tissue inventories; personnel & budget management responsibility
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Industrial Operations Engineering, Operations Management or other relevant degree. 5 yrs purchasing/supply chain/inventory control experience in a high-tech industry. 3 yrs management experience; expert knowledge of supply chain management & inventory control. Excellent PC Skills (Word/Excel/Outlook); strong analytical skills & ability to forecast inventory need based on historical trends and current demand metrics.
