Daimler Financial Services Americas' restructuring will add about 50 jobs at the recently de-merged group's Farmington Hills headquarters.
The company is also expanding its operations in Texas, says Jack Ferry, manager of media relations.
"We're going to have a net gain of 50 positions here," he says.
The additions will occur sometime next year.
"They'll be corporte support positions, human resources, controlling, legal - those types of positions," he says.
The move is part of the de-structuring of the former Daimler-Chrysler financial group.
