Growth Companies

Birmingham-based Brogan And Partners Convergence Marketing was established in 1984 by Marcie Brogan, who still owns the company today.

A full-service marketing firm which thrives on challenge and fosters creativity to build their clients' brands and bottom lines, Brogan does not rely on ad campaigns; it is in the business of creating deeper, more meaningful connections between companies and customers, products and people.

The company's marketing philosophy centers on the idea that "every communication in your marketing effort should support your business objectives."

Brogan recently launched a new company called Ignite Social Media to help clients communicate with their customers using new technologies and social media tools.

The firm won the 2007 Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility and in March received three Bronze 2007 Addy Awards for public service and collateral material production.

Additionally, Brogan earned three Tellys --among the most sought-after awards in television commercials-- and five awards for healthcare marketing at the 24th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards.

Major clients include Blue Cross Network of Michigan, Comcast Cable, Honeybaked Ham, St. John Health System, Molina Healthcare and the Michigan Department of Community Health.

The agency has 55 employees total, including 32 in Birmingham and has had three new hires this year.
